Design & customization
Every PM‑180 tray is engineered around your device. Share CAD or sample parts and we’ll design a precise cavity layout for a no‑rattle fit. We tune draft angles for easy pick‑and‑place on the line, add finger‑notches for consumer removal, and integrate cable channels or accessory pockets as needed. For multi‑SKU programs, we can keep a common outer footprint with interchangeable inner cavities so your outer box stays the same across models.
Materials & finish
The black color is fiber‑integrated using water‑based pigments for a rub‑fast, satin look—no plastic films. The material is static‑neutral and low‑lint, suitable for sensitive electronics. White, natural kraft or brand tints are available.
Sampling & lead time
- DFM review and layout proposal within a few days.
- Sample mold + samples: about 10 days.
- Mass production: 15–25 days after approval.
Typical tolerance is ±0.3–0.5 mm to ensure a snug fit across component variations.
Quality & testing
Moisture is controlled through forming and oven‑drying for dimensional stability. We can advise on ISTA‑style drop, vibration and compression testing, and reinforce critical zones with ribs or thicker walls as needed.
Packing & delivery
Trays nest tightly in master cartons; pallets are optimized for export. EXW/FOB/CIF shipping terms available with sustainability data sheets on request.
FAQs
Q1: Can you match the exact earphone shape?
A: Yes. Provide CAD or samples and we’ll build precise cavities for the buds, case and accessories.
Q2: Will the black color transfer onto products?
A: No. Our through‑fiber, water‑based pigments are rub‑fast under normal handling. Samples available for validation.
Q3: What thickness do you recommend?
A: 0.7–1.2 mm for most earphone sets; we adjust based on weight and drop‑test requirements.
Q4: Can we add our logo?
A: Embossed or debossed logos and icons can be molded into the tray. Outer box printing is also supported.
Q5: Are these trays waterproof?
A: Fiber trays are absorbent by nature. Optional water‑resistant coating/liners can be added for high‑humidity routes.
Q6: What is the MOQ and timing?
A: MOQ 5000 pcs. Samples in about 10 days; production 15–25 days after approval.
Q7: Do the trays recycle with paperboard boxes?
A: Yes. They are paper‑fiber based and can be recycled together with most paper packaging streams.
