Pink egg cartons work best for spring and Easter lines, awareness campaigns, gift packs, color coded product ranges and farm brand identity. The color does a job before the shopper reads a word. It says “this one is different” on a shelf full of grey and brown.
Our molded pulp pink cartons run from soft blush through mid pink to deep rose. The color is blended into the pulp slurry before the carton is formed, so the shade runs through the fiber and is not painted on the surface. We make them in 4, 6, 12, 18 and 20 cell counts.
This guide shows six ways egg brands use pink, how to choose a shade, what to print on it and what to check before you order. We make these cartons in Dongguan, China, so the specs below come from our own product page.
What Are Pink Molded Pulp Egg Cartons?
They are egg cartons made from recycled paper pulp, with pink pigment mixed in before the carton is formed. Because the pigment is in the fiber, there is no surface coating. The color survives handling, scuffing and stacking.
Our product page lists three shade groups: blush, mid pink and deep rose. We can also match a custom shade to a sample. We keep a record of each shade standard, so a reorder matches the first run.

1. Easter and Spring Lines
Easter is the biggest seasonal window for pink. The National Retail Federation expects record Easter spending of $24.9 billion in 2026. Food is the largest category at $7.5 billion, and 90% of shoppers plan to buy food for the holiday (NRF and Prosper Insights, survey of 7,845 adults, March 2026).
That number covers all Easter food, not just eggs. It still shows how much shopping happens in a few weeks. A pink carton marks your eggs as the Easter or spring pack, and you can retire it after the season.
Plan early. Set your shade, your artwork and your order size well before the spring rush, and ask for a sample first.
2. Awareness Campaigns
Pink is a common color for awareness campaigns. A pink carton lets a farm or brand join a cause with a pack that people notice. Our product page lists awareness campaigns as one of the main uses.
Be exact about what you claim. If you say a share of sales goes to a cause, say who gets it and how much. A Maryland extension fact sheet says labels may not be misleading and producers must be able to document their claims (University of Maryland Extension, Selling Shell Eggs to Retailers). Keep the proof on file before you print.
3. Gift Packs
A half dozen in pink makes a simple gift. Our علبة بيض سعة 6 بيضات is a common choice for specialty, premium and gift lines. In pink, it works for spring baskets, thank you gifts and farm stand specials.
Add a tag or an embossed message. Embossing is built into the mold, so it does not add a print step to each run.
4. Color Coded Product Lines
Color can sort your range. Use pink for one product and natural pulp or another stock shade for the rest. Shoppers learn the code fast, and your staff can pick the right carton without reading a label.
لدينا كرتون البيض الملون come in six stock shades. If you plan a multi color range, choose shades that stay distinct under store lights, then test them side by side.
5. Farm Brand Identity
Some farms use one signature color on every carton. Pink can be that color. It is rare on a grocery shelf, so it is easy to remember. A deep rose reads bold and premium. A blush reads soft and friendly.
Pick the shade that matches your logo and your story. If your farm name, packaging and website all use the same pink, the carton becomes part of your brand.
6. Mixed Ranges With Natural Pulp
You do not have to go all pink. Many sellers run natural pulp as the everyday carton and pink for a limited run. This keeps your stock simple and your seasonal pack special.
Stock pink carries a lower minimum order than a custom shade, so start with a stock shade if you are testing the idea. Confirm current minimums with our sales team.
How Do You Choose a Pink Shade?
Pick by how bold you want the carton to look and what you plan to print. Here is a simple guide. Always test your artwork on the real shade, because screens show color differently.
| Shade | Look | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Blush | Soft, light | Spring lines, gift packs, gentle brands |
| Mid pink | Clear, friendly | Awareness campaigns, everyday seasonal packs |
| Deep rose | Rich, bold | Premium lines, strong brand color |
Our spec says black, white and deep green inks give high contrast on pink. Use white or black for most logos. If you embossed your logo, a deeper shade shows the relief more clearly than a light one.
What Should You Print on a Pink Carton?
Print your brand name, your required label text and one clear message. A busy design on a colored carton looks messy. Keep the layout simple and leave space around the label.
The Maryland fact sheet lists text that sellers must show. It includes the words “safe handling instructions” in bold capitals inside a box, the packer name and address, a packer registration number, a lot designation, the word “eggs” in at least 1/4 inch type, and the grade and size (University of Maryland Extension). Rules differ by state, so check yours before you print.
Check that every line stays readable on your chosen shade. A light gray ink on blush will fade. If you need help with artwork, our خدمة مخصصة starts with your logo, your cell count and your colors.
Do Pink Cartons Change How Eggs Look?
Yes, a little. A pink carton gives eggs a warm frame. White and brown eggs both stand out against it. Test a few real eggs in a sample before you decide, since shell tones vary from flock to flock.
If you sell blue or olive shell eggs, you might prefer a tonal blue carton instead. See our guide to blue egg cartons for that idea. For more on how pigment affects the carton itself, read what pigment does to fiber strength.
How Do You Plan a Pink Carton Launch?
A pink pack works best when you plan it as a small project, not a last minute swap. Walk through these steps in order.
- Pick the goal. Is this a seasonal pack, a campaign, a gift or a permanent line? The goal decides the shade and the count.
- Choose the shade. Blush feels soft and gentle. Mid pink is the most flexible. Deep rose feels bold and rich. Ask for sample cartons so you can compare them next to your eggs.
- Fix the artwork. Decide what is embossed, debossed or printed. Keep the logo big and the text short.
- Check the label rules. Your required text still has to fit. Our guide on egg carton labels and stamps shows what most sellers need to print.
- Test a small batch. Put a few pink cartons on one shelf or one market table. Watch how shoppers react before you commit to a bigger run.
- Place the order. Share your counts, shade and artwork with our team and ask for a drawing and a sample.
This order keeps surprises low. Most problems we see come from skipping step 4 or step 5.
What Mistakes Should You Avoid With Pink?
Pink is easy to like, but a few habits cause trouble.
- Choosing the shade from a screen. Pink shifts a lot between monitors. Look at a real sample in the light where the cartons will sit.
- Using light ink on a light shade. White print on blush can vanish. Use dark ink on pale pink and white ink on deep rose.
- Crowding the lid. A pink carton already draws the eye. A busy label makes it look messy. One logo and one short line is enough.
- Mixing too many pinks. Two shades in one range is a lot. Three starts to look like a mistake.
- Forgetting the egg. Brown, white and cream eggs all look different in pink. Put your real eggs in the sample before you decide.
How Does Pink Pair With Other Colors in Your Range?
Pink does not have to stand alone. Many brands pair it with a second color so shoppers can tell products apart at a glance.
Pink and natural pulp make a calm, simple pair. The natural carton stays the everyday pack and the pink carton becomes the special one. Pink with blue egg cartons works well for a spring display, because the two colors sit well together without clashing.
If you want to see the whole palette, our كرتون البيض الملون page lists the six stock shades. We also wrote about what pigment does to fiber strength, which is worth reading before you choose a deep shade.
One more tip: keep the same carton shape across colors when you can. A consistent shape lets shoppers see the color as the only change, and it keeps your packing simple.
How Do You Order Pink Egg Cartons?

- Decide on branding: emboss, deboss or print.
- Check your label text against the lid panel.
