Design & compatibility
Our pulp display clips are engineered to work with the most common display substrates—E, B and C‑flute corrugated, as well as 1.0–2.5 mm chipboard. The tapered tongue slides through a die‑cut slot while the molded wedge expands behind the panel to lock components together. We can tune thickness, rib pattern and wedge height to the exact board caliper you use, ensuring repeatable assembly on the packing line. For modular racks, choose a double‑slot clip that accepts vertical dividers and header boards in one part. Edge radii and rounded corners prevent tearing and allow fast insertion without tools.
Performance & testing
Wet‑press pulp provides excellent stiffness and dimensional stability. Ribs and buttresses inside the clip increase compression strength and pull‑through resistance so signs remain straight during transport and in‑store handling. We validate hold force on sample boards, and can provide guidance for ISTA‑style vibration and drop tests when clips are pre‑installed in shippers. Surface friction is balanced to hold firmly while still allowing disassembly for recycling.
Sustainability & materials
The clips are produced from recycled paper pulp and plant fibers, free of plastic laminations and metal fasteners. They are recyclable in paper streams and biodegradable/compostable in appropriate conditions. Using pulp clips keeps the entire display mono‑material, simplifying take‑back and improving retail compliance for plastic‑reduction programs. Pantone color tints and water‑based inks are available to match brand palettes without compromising recyclability.
Manufacturing, quality & logistics
Tooling is CNC‑machined and polished to achieve smooth edges that won’t abrade board surfaces. Typical dimensional tolerance is ±0.3–0.5 mm. We control moisture during forming and oven‑drying for stable dimensions across climates. Clips are nest‑stacked in master cartons for maximum pack‑out efficiency and palletized for export. Standard sampling takes around 10 days; production usually runs 15–25 days after approval. MOQ is 5000 pcs per design/color.
Use cases
- POP/PDQ displays and modular racks
- Cardboard shelves and dividers
- Header, wobblers and info cards
- Event signage and temporary décor
- Window displays where plastic is restricted
Вопросы и ответы
Q1: What board thickness do these clips support?
A: We customize wedge height and slot width to your board—typical range is 1.0–3.0 mm for chipboard and E/B/C‑flute corrugated.
Q2: Can we add adhesive to the base?
A: Yes. We offer flat‑base versions ready for double‑sided tape or hot‑melt, as well as through‑slot locking styles.
Q3: Are the clips strong enough for heavy headers?
A: With reinforced ribs and proper slot design, pulp clips reliably hold typical retail headers and shelf talkers. We can test with your actual display.
Q4: Do the clips damage the board?
A: Rounded edges and controlled friction prevent tearing. We’ll match the clip geometry to your board caliper for smooth insertion.
Q5: Can I brand the clip?
A: Embossed/debossed logos, recycling icons and orientation arrows are available. Color‑tinted fiber can match your brand.
Q6: What is the MOQ and lead time?
A: MOQ 5000 pcs. Samples in about 10 days; mass production 15–25 days after approval.
Q7: Are they fully recyclable and biodegradable?
A: Yes. They are paper‑fiber based and can be recycled with the display or biodegrade under proper conditions.
